PIT OF GOBLIN resurrection altar guide
A revive is valuable only if the rescue team survives the trip. Stabilize the area, locate the altar and protect the remaining food before committing to a recovery.
What the altar is reported to do
A Steam community guide updated in October 2026 says a resurrection altar can be found on each dungeon floor, can be used three times and returns a goblin with full health and stamina. These details are useful, but they are not stated on the official store page.
A safer revive sequence
- Call out the death location and the nearest known altar.
- Move food and high-value loot away from the active threat.
- Clear or distract the enemy instead of rushing the altar blindly.
- Send the smallest safe rescue group; the whole team does not need to cluster.
- After the revive, regroup and reassess whether the run should end.
When not to attempt a revive
Skip the rescue when reaching the altar would expose every surviving goblin, the extraction timer is already collapsing or the team would abandon the only viable food haul. A recovered player is not worth converting one death into a wipe.
In a six-player lobby, the team can separate recovery and extraction roles. In solo play, a teammate revive is irrelevant; invest instead in avoiding irreversible mistakes and preserving stamina.
